Cashew Nut Butter
Homemade nut butter is one of the simplest things to make. All you need is some nuts and a strong food processor. Its so much better than store bought nut butter. Its creamier, smoother and best of all healthier. You can use it in all sorts, from Smoothies or even simply spread it on toast. Store bought Nut Butter has all sorts of sugars and processed oils whereas this is simply made of one simple, healthy ingredient – Cashew Nuts. Unfortunately you will need a strong and powerful food processor. I know you can use a Vitamix or MagiMix but other food processors may work. I would just research it before just so you can save yourself a food processor.

- Roast the Cashew nuts in the oven on a tray until golden in colour on 180’C (160 fan) in 5 minute intervals. You should be able to smell them.
- Let these cool until stone cold and then put these into your food processor. You should see them becoming a powder and then it should come together into a ball of Cashew Nut Butter.
- Give the Cashew Nut Butter a stir and then put them in sterilised jars and leave in the fridge.
